Martyna Wiankowska was born on 24th December 1996 in Łowicz, Poland. The forward made the step-up to first-team football with Czarni Sosnowiec and in her two seasons at the club, scored 34 goals in 45 league games. She won the league and cup double while in Poland, as well as taking part in UEFA Champions League qualification with Sosnowiec.
During her time with Czarni Sosnowiec, Turbine Potsdam noticed her talents and brought her to Germany. In her year in Potsdam, she gained her first experience of the German top flight. In 20 Bundesliga games, she scored three goals - two of which came against FC.
After the season at Potsdam, Wiankowska joined 1. FC Köln. She has been a regular for the Polish national team over the past few years.
